Reinvigorated product and brand identity that helped secure meetings with stockists the company had been targeting for years, and increased buys with established partners.

Design lead for Ralph Lauren Collection’s sweaters, knitwear and cut + sew, responsible for the entire development process from initial sketch to final T.O.P. samples.
Conceptualized seasonal knitwear themes for Mr. Lauren, incorporating inspirational elements, market research and the brand’s heritage to create a cohesive and dynamic vision for every collection.
Managed a 3-5 person team in the development knit swatches, yarn sourcing, techpacks, overseas factory communication, proto fittings and finishing details, ensuring the high quality expected of the brand.
Presented collection progress presentations to senior leadership executives during various point of the development process for notes and approvals.
Collection sweaters’ sales increased by 30% during my first 2 years.
Shepherded the design team through multiple corporate restructurings and digitizing the development process to streamline productivity and ensure brand quality consistency.

Designed and developed trend driven collections for the Ronny Kobo Collection customer across multiple markets and lead the re-brand of ‘Torn by Ronny Kobo’ to better compliment Collection.
Lead research in the contemporary and luxury markets to identify key trends and concepts that would resonate with the brand’s demographic.
Designed and oversaw style development in overseas factories from fabric trials, to techpacks and final SMS for showroom.
Reviewed and fit all protos, and managed tech design team in the communication of notes and fit changes to overseas factories.
Oversaw seasonal WIP charts to ensure cross functional transparency for all departments.
Merchandised final collections to ensure deliveries were visually cohesive and defined for showroom sales team.
Streamlined the collection to outlet process, doubling our business with off-price retailers.

Worked alongside creative directors to design and develop product across all categories for four collections a year, as well competed as a finalists for the CFDA Vogue fashion Fund in 2010 + 2012, Swiss Textile Award 2009 and Woolmark Award 2014.
Attended tradeshows, met with overseas mills and local factories in the development of custom textiles, prints, and embroidery.
Responsible for all initial drapes and pattern work for first samples.
Liaison between design studios and local sample makers, coordinated deliveries of all materials, negotiated rates and oversaw quality.
Developed process for overseas production that included finalizing production patterns, creating techpacks, managed grading, calculated and coordinated the delivery of raw materials for production.
Managed all aspects of NYFW show with Milk Studios, coordinated looks and fittings with stylists that included Alastair McKim, Giovanna Battaglia and Caroline Issa.
Handled specialty garments for various events, including Tauba Archbach’s performance for PS1 Move, Antony + the Johnsons at Radio City Musical Hall, and bespoke orders for VIPs clients including Michelle Obama.
